Join us for the next segment in the Hackett Auto Museum Speaker Series – “A Discussion with Chris Lezotte”
A Motor City native, Chris Lezotte spent much of her life in the ad business as a VP Creative Group Supervisor, creating award winning commercials for clients such as Buick and GMC truck. Chris then completed a master’s degree in Women’s and Gender studies at Eastern Michigan University, follwed by a PhD in American Culture Studies at Bowling Green State University. She was awarded a research fellowship from the BGSU Popular Culture Studies Center for the 2015 – 2016 academic year, and has recently been accepted into the National Coalition of Independent Scholars. Chris’ body of work examines the relationship between women and cards in a variety of contexts. However, her primary focus is women’s participation in various car cultures.
