The Hackett Auto Museum is off to a roaring start! Since its inception a little more than two years ago the project has garnered nearly $175,000 in support of its $1.4 million dollar goal.

“Fundraising started in earnest this past December,” according to Ted O’Dell, the museums executive director. “We now stand poised to kick our fund raising efforts into high gear.”

Recently, the museum received the gift of a professional fundraiser for the next twelve months, at no cost to the museum.

“We are incredibly appreciative and thrilled to receive this gift,” said Ted O’Dell, the museum’s executive director.

The patron, who does not wish to be identified, recently told O’Dell he recognizes the value of creating a permanent home for Jackson made automobiles to be used as an educational and historic resource for the community.
